Eazysoft, of Nairobi, Kenya, runs this website. This page explains what we collect through it and what we do with it. We handle personal data in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
- When you use the contact form: your name, email address, and, if you give them, your phone number, company and message.
- When you browse: our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser) for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use advertising trackers and do not sell or share your details with marketers.
Cookies
The site sets two cookies that it needs to work: a session cookie and a security token that protects the contact form from forged submissions. Both expire when you close your browser or shortly after. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
Why we use it
We use what you send through the contact form only to reply to you and, if you become a client, to do the work you asked for. Server logs are used only to keep the site running and secure.
Who else handles it
- Our hosting provider, which runs the server the site and its database live on.
- Our email provider, which delivers the notification of your message and our reply.
These providers may store data outside Kenya. They act on our instructions and only to provide their service.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept for 24 months after our last exchange with you, then deleted, unless you become a client, in which case they form part of our business records. Server logs are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.
